    Paradigm or Athena

    My best choice???

    Paradigm Monitor 7 or Athena ASF2.2 thanks

    Can you listen to both? That's the most important decider. I found the Monitor 7s a little muddy in the midrange with undefined treble and loose bass but perhaps they're one of the better options for that price range.

    It would be worth knowing what you're going to use these for and what the rest of your equipment is in case anyone has experience with matching those speakers to any components.

    Sorry, I don't have first hand experience with these. But even if I had an oppinion on them, you should listen to your ears instead of mine. Everyone hears things differently. Some will pick one and others will pick the other. Grab your favorite CD and go out and listen to them as well as as many others as you can.

    I love the paradigm studio series, but can't help ya with the monitor 7's vs athena's
