I havent heard the Vibration speakers but the reviews are mixed.

Read this CNET review on the JBL Charge and others. The charge has good reviews.

I made my choices based on reviews I saw, but anytime they review the vibration speakers they seem to focus on explaining the technology as opposed to the sound quality other than the fact that they are "thumping loudly". And I have no idea if " a frequency response of 50Hz to 18kHz " is good or not. I appreciate the input anyway.

I have come to the conclusion they are more of a novelty. Sound varies depending on what you set it on. Other than being omnidirectional I don't see any advantages sound wise.
