Arrow A City Name "Dish" ? Wow!

Mansfield and Chartiers were neighboring boroughs that merged in 1894 to form Carnegie, so that philanthropist Andrew Carnegie would donate a local library. Now, towns nationwide have a chance to adopt the name Dish, in order to get free Dish Network satellite TV service for every household for 10 years. The change has to be legal and permanent, and has to appear on government buildings, signs and letterhead, said Englewood, Colo.-based EchoStar Communications Corp., which announced the offer Tuesday. Submissions are due Nov. 1 at CityMakeover@dishnetwork.com. The first town willing to change wins the service.

There's a small town named Cable (I'm not making this up) that is having city hearings regarding this name change right now. Interesting marketing ploy, but DirecTV is still better .
