Unhappy Thirty Six Sony Factories Shut Down

    Or destroyed.
I watched in horror as a Tsunami crawled across the JAPANESE countryside, destroying
    everything in its path.
Not a cheap movie, but true life. I watched a line of trucks , moving at a godawefull
speed, screaming at the tv when they made a critical wrong turn and were cut off by
the tendrils of nasty polluted water.
And Sony announced their shutdown this morning.
My heart goes out to the JAPANESE, in this time of what must be a very bad thing.
This is one of those things you remember, but wish you could forget.

    In complete agreement.

On our front the Tsunami hit the western shores of the US this morning with some good damage in some places.

Yes, this is going to change our lives, besides the incredible human toil.
I worked in a JVC plant once, and the JAPANESE I met were very gracious, well
    mannered, intelligent, and friendly.
BAD PEOPLE do not deserve this. These highly civilized people certainly don't.

Angry Tonight I will be listening to my Sony speakers with a heavy heart

How many lives ruined or taken in just an instant? Like the movie 2012 but its only 2011 one year too soon. How many lives ruined? How many lives lost? The land of the rising run has become the land in the setting sun lost trying to find a way to the light. Where's my family? Where's my friends? Where's my pets? Where the hell am I? What am I gonna do now? What happens now? Must be all the questions going through peoples minds. What does the future hold?

Sometimes Mother Nature is a nasty cold-hearted *****. I absolutely hate when stuff like this happens. This disaster is going to have wide ranging social impact and economic impact.

We do business with several companies in Japan. None of them have responded to my emails of hope. It is very unlike them to not respond quickly. I hope that they are ok. My thoughts go out to them as well as the rest of their people.
It will take time for them to recover and rebuild, but if anyone can do it, they can. Of all the companies I've dealt with all over the world, the ones there have been the most dependable and honest of them all.

The power of what nature can do is on full display. Considering the magnitude of the quake and tsunami, it's fortunate that Japan is actually well prepared for these kinds of events. It's tragic that we're now looking at potentially 10,000 killed, but for a 9.0 earthquake (over 100x more powerful than the Kobe and Northridge quakes) it could have been much more catastrophic. Can't say the same for the situation with the nuclear reactors ... that should be a cautionary warning.

An earthquake(the biggest) , a volcano, a tsunami, and several reactors are melting down.
And now I hear they are deep in debt. Hoo boy.

    as the Japanese(good movie, btw).
