    Cool Songs with city title

The song San Francisco from Scott McKenzie came on radio while listening to radio, so thought what other good songs been written with city title. Here are couple that came to mind.

    Not in any particular order:

Streets of Philadelphia by Bruce Springsteen

    Luckenbach Texas by Waylon Jennings

New York, New York by Frank Sinatra

Whoever's In New England by Reba McEntire

Finch, I hope you realize that your statements can be fact checked, and it don’t check out.

    However, funny though

Yeah, I started with typical boring ones: Lodi, Galveston, etc. Erased those and tried something different.

No offense, Smokey, but this type of thread isn't going to bring out many posters. I mean, how about your 'favorite' song with a city in the title? Even that would be a stretch. Just sayin' (sigh).
I call my bathroom Jim instead of John so I can tell people that I go to the Jim first thing every morning.

    L A Woman - The Doors
I'm Going To Jackson - Johnny Cash & June Carter
    Detroit Rock City - Kiss
    Katmandu - Bod Seger
Queen of Memphis - Confederate Railroad
    Cleveland Rocks - Ian Hunter
Walking To New Orleans - Fats Domino
Streets of Bakersfield - Dwight Yoakum
Living On Tulsa Time - Clapton
    Oh Atlanta - Little Feat
Last Train To Clarksville - Monkees

Without cheating this is what I get off the top of my head. I know Mama's Pride does a song with St. Louis but not sure the exact title and Diesel does something like South Saledo Shuffle.

Well, I was actually here because of the thread started by Stone, and I'm pretty sure Finch was being facetious.

Whatever happened to the good old days when we were asked to name our favorite song about masturbation?

I think Swish's was "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head" but I'll bet it wasn't rain.

Now that's disgusting! Something I would expect from Finch, but...

That's why I took a different route. You could have done the same, but no, ya had to be negative and bring down the whole internets.

Ha! I've got many names. You know what's funny is years ago I got a subscription beg from Playboy mag. It's addressed to Hugh G. Rection, and in the window above my address, it says Tell Us What To Do About Hugh G. Rection! I still have īt displayed on my wall.

Well, Playboy, if you don't know what to do with Hugh G. Rections, I can't help you.
