What's it take to make you open a post?

Does it need a title that grabs you in a sensational way,
or do you go by the poster?
Will you read just about anything by certain posters.
or is the subject matter suggested by the title the deciding factor?
And do you get kinda pissed off at false advertising,
    or bad jokes,
    or silly lyrics,
    or whiny, whiny posts?

Of course, with the see ya after my vacation, got better things to do than hang at a geeky music discussion board when there's nearly naked girls on the beach that would surely appreciate my clever anecdotes, lazing on a sunny afternoon with my ice cold beer atmosphere around here lately, I guess one could easily read every post just by a quick and painless once-a-day perusal

Ah, save me, save me, save me from this squeeze.
I got a big fat mama trying to break me.
And I love to live so pleasantly,
    Live this life of luxury,
    Lazing on a sunny afternoon.
    In the summertime
    In the summertime
    In the summertime

Hell, I open just about anything if I'm bored enough...and nothing if I'm too busy. Sorry...I'm easy like that.

    pity click.

I call my bathroom Jim instead of John so I can tell people that I go to the Jim first thing every morning.

If you say the word 'gullible' very slowly it sounds just like oranges.

Thanks, pity clicker. And as the Skipper said to Gilligan, any port in a storm little buddy.

Hey Swish Baby, got some "Shane, she wrote this" playing right now. Remember that one from the magical sounding 1991 Television reunion? Cool stuff.

Sisters rejoice in a B-minor chord,
    With wildly impassioned delight
Rapture is mine now as I behold
    All turning holy and bright
    So bright.

She gives me all the love
Why do I not hear my name?
She gives me all the love
    Maybe I don't understand.

    Shane
    I want to know.

This board is slow enough that I read pretty much every thread. Occasionally -- like with the sports -- I skip it if I know where it's gone, but other than that, all of them.

I open most every thread, unless it's strictly prog related, and if I'm bored enough I open those too.
And the world will turn to flowing pink vapor stew.

What hour-long posts? I know it seems like an hour has gone by, sometimes they have that epic feel to them, but in reality, it's only been five minutes.
