    Pavlov for the dogs

Bill Bruford was the drummer on the second one if my memory serves me correctly today.

...what this has to do with Pavlov's %$#$% dog....

(O.T.) Yes, a review of the players is coming, prob' after the holidays - I'm waayyy too busy right now with work. The NuForce isn't even here yet. It shipped out today, according to NuForce. I'm keeping the standard BDP-83 for comparison and if the NuForce one is indeed that much better, I'll probably sell the standard one. I only need a single player and I'm trying really really hard to downsize.

    Barry,

Am I missing something? This article doesn't mention anything about why the band is called Pavlov's Dog.

Probably not. It's probably me that's missing something. No thread on the band Pavlov's dog should be this long. It's much longer than their career was.

NF, they had to call themselves something and ZZ Top was already taken.

I don't think calling themselves Pavlov's Dog helped, though. If I was starting a band today, I wouldn't call myself Schrödinger's Cat either.

What's wrong with the name Pavlov's Dog?

Did you hear the song? I don't think their name was the problem.

Well I did read that sound quality on their albums wasn't up to snuff. But a name like that didn't really help either, even in the 70s & 80s.

Good, 'cause I sing pretty bad too (kind of like a pissed off cat who may or may not be there, lol).
