I'm mainly referrring to comps you've put together yourself with this thread although someone else's comp is fair game, too. Anyway, I pulled out this comp yesterday with a 5/03 date on it called "Wednesday Mix" and popped into the car player on random mode, not remembering a thing that was on it (I'm notorious for no tracklists) and was thoroughly entertained and surprised by the eclecticity of this particular set of tunes, which took me back to the fruitful days of AOR FM. Just about every tune hit me in the right frame of mind and they even flowed well on random. Here's the tracklist:

"Wednesday Mix" 5/2003

1. Weak Little Lad - IZZ
2. Popular Music - Cheese
3. Bloody Well Right - Supertramp
4. America - Simon and Garfunkel
5. Something Between Your Eyes and Mine - Highway 9
6. Down - Nilsson
7. Merry-Go-Round - PFR
8. Nobody Knows - Raspberries
9. Roberta - Billy Joel
10. Rockaria! - ELO
11. Ram On - Paul McCartney
12. Just Another High - Roxy Music
13. Straight On (Live) - Heart
14. Sweet Dreams - Roy Buchanan
15. Two Against Nature - Steely Dan
16. Won't Get Fooled Again - The Who (this one I should have omitted due to familarity on Classic Rock stations, but it does break up the deep-cut mode)
17. The Last Plimsoul - Stackridge

While this mix isn't exactly representative of the stuff most of you here listen to, the point of this is to ask you if you guys occasionally do this: run across a mix comp you haven't played in a long time that kind of got lost in the shuffle, and you find yourself totally getting into almost every track and the comp has a fresh feel to it? Ahh, the magic of old mixes!
