Recently I decided to whip out a CD that I have not listened to in probably 5 years, it was RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINES debut album, which I bought back in 1992 and listened to it non-stop for many years, then it sat on my shelf for the past 5 and when I went to listen to it I noticed just how poor the recording of that album is, it's very muddy with a very compressed sound, does anyone know if this album has been re-issued/remastered since it's initial release???

Funny, I was listening to this album Wednesday night (every time I see the Matrix I have to give it a listen). Anyway, I was thinking that I really liked the recording.. very stripped down compared to a lot of the other stuff that was going on around the same time. Kinda fat on the low end, a little muddy, yes, but I didn't think it really sounded all that compressed.. it does have some dynamics to it. Yes, it could probably use a remaster, sharpen things up a bit maybe.
