Kind of a souped-up Manheim Steamroller.

This new one is different.

These guys sound nothing like ELP, well, nothing like ELP of the 1970s. I even find Love Beach more dynamic than most of the stuff I've heard from Glass Hammer. I do have three GH CDs.

My complaint about GH is that for a band, they sound a lot like a one-man band multi-tracking in the studio. Actually, to me they sound like a dumbed down Starcastle, which was a kind-of dumbed-down Yes.

This band has no bite, a rather blase vocalist. It's good to hear that the new one has more bite, but what about the vocalist?

I'll seek out some other reviews, but it's going to be difficult for me to give these guys another chance.
