    Elton John top 3 songs

Not a big fan of EJ, but he did manage put out some pretty good songs here and there. Some of his older material is decent but FM radio made them stale due to being over played. So it is touch and go.

    1. "Island Girl"
    2. "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" with Kiki Dee.
    3. "I'm Still Standing"
    4. "I Want to Kiss the Bride"
And may be "Nikita" on a good day

OMG. So many great songs to choose from. Okay, off the top of my head without giving this too much thought...

    1. Skyline Pigeon
    2. Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me.
    3. Levon

I have to break the rules because I can't make up my mind on just 3.
    Madman Across The Water
    Rocket Man
    Tiny Dancer
    Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting
Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me
    Levon

I used to love Candle In The Wind but I think I heard it one too many times. The song he did for John Lennon is good as well, is that Garden? Yeah, he has a few good songs.

Empty Garden. I was going to give that one honourable mention. It's a beautiful song.

I'm a little surprised to see so many of you list Your Song. I've always thought that song was a little cheesy. You guys are just big ol' softies at heart.

Really difficult to pick only 3 songs, as he has so many great hits.

    If I had to pick:

    Levon
    Rocketman
and either Candle in the Wind or Tiny Dancer.

In Some One Save My Life Tonight, does he really say Sugar Bear? As in Sugar Crisp before "sugar" became a bad word in advertising to the health conscience mom's. Worst thing to happen to cereal, ever. No more "Sugar" Pops, they ruined Honey Combs, "honey" how healthy does that sound, leave it alone. If you can't give it flavor, give us sugar! Wow, I think I just snapped, excuse me for that. I feel better though, I think it was buried down deep for decades.

Good to see you checking in and nice call on Tumbleweed. I bought a nearly perfect vinyl edition in Austin last year, and the Indie-hipster kid behind the counter gave me a snooty look during my check-out. If he only knew how good this is...
I call my bathroom Jim instead of John so I can tell people that I go to the Jim first thing every morning.

If you say the word 'gullible' very slowly it sounds just like oranges.
