You may want to look for a bunch of '70s compilation CDs called Have A Nice Day. I think there are 24 in total and they are collected by the dates they were on the radio (roughly). You can get them at Best Buy for under $10 bucks each. They are a real blast from the past, with tons of long-forgotten songs.

Just don't overlook some of those Steely Dan classics like Reelin' In the Years and Rikki Don't Lose That Number. Another great one is Midnight At The Oasis by Maria Muldar. And how about some Joni Mitchell, for Example (You Turn Me On ) I'm A Radio or Carey. Also, you can't go without some early Chicago, maybe 24 or 6 to 4 and Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is? And then there's Bread...
