My 30-year reunion is coming up this Sept. and I have been given the responsibility of providing the music from our high school years: 1970 - 1974. Your suggestions for songs that should be included (ie, Rolling Stones' "Sweet Virginia") and songs that should be discarded ("The Lion Sleeps Tonight") would be appreciated. All genres are welcome: Top 40, alternative (did that exist in 1974?), country, pop, metal, rock, etc.
