    Anyone hear of Collage?

I stumbled upon this band when poking around Amazon and I like what I hear. I'm going to try their album Moonshine. Seem to be very melodic Prog. I also have a band called Hunter on my hit list.

You all usually already know of anything I find, but a link would help.

    Don't make fun of me

Click on Hunter on the same page as Collage, then check this:

Hey, I like this. Let me know how the CD is and whether it's worth ordering.

    Here's more info on them.

I'm not hearing the Hunter/Steve Wilson connection. But with only 30 second song bites, it's hard to really get a feel for something.

You may want to try clicking on one of those Satellite links too. If you like the sound of Collage and Hunter, I think that you'll like Satellite.

I like Moonshine a bunch, Collage's that is.

A heavily guitar centric disk, reminds me of the good songs on Steve Hackett's Spectral Mornings mostly cause the guy's guitar tone is very similar. If memory serves, it's mostly instrumental.

There was something . . . generic about Satellite and Collage to me. The epic sound and classic prog instrumentation pushed all the right buttons, but none of the songs had any staying power for me.

Thanks FA for the link. I bought Steven Wilson, Insurgentes, CD & DVD. not usre what the DVD is, may just be same thing with nothing much for video. Hopefully, it might be some concert footage. This sounded good the night I put it in my cart but I listened to it later and was less enthused, hope I made the right decision.

What hooked me on Moonshine, Collage's, that is, the melodies they do.
