    Talking 8 track repair man!

Need your 8 track tapes repaired? Go here:

    http://www.katestrackshack.com/

They even buy, sell, trade 8 tracks. I just saw the local TV news report and it looks like they've got a really large inventory!

    Oh!

The music used in the soundtrack is taken directly from ancient 8-track tapes. The music has intermittent top-end drop-out and that sorta sickly warbling sound. It's hilarious.

Yeah, of all the formats ya know? Why does Michael Moore come to mind when I play the trailer?

That round looking player is identical to the one on the news report. Thruthfully I've never seen one like that before.

BTW, the proprieters of Kate's Track Shack own an AMC Pacer, and at one point during the interview the reporter was in the car with the daughter.

How/where do you rent this expose?

Has to be one of the ugliest vehicles to ever hit the streets of the USA. An uncles used to own one and I hit it with my Duster. It was partially his fault, coming around a turn too fast while I was exiting a parking lot near the intersection. I would have done him a favor by demolishing the piece 'o crap, but I only grazed it. There are few rivals to its height of ugliness, but there is one late model auto that comes to mind...the Pontiac Aztec. If any of you RR people own one, sorry, but they are really freakin' nasty looking. Add the bright yellow paint and it's even worse.

Can you hear the end of the movie in the background while watching the begining? Or can you fix that with a rolled up matchbook cover?

I've recently joined Blockbuster Total Access so I'll look for it.

Man, I sure hope they've got the audio synched up properly with the video! I get confused easily as it is!

The thing about the Pacer . . .

The Porsche 928 looks like a chopped and channeled Pacer. Park them next to each other and the resemblance is uncanny.

You know, as dorky as the Pacer was, I've always liked it's goofy ugly duckling looks. It'd make a great rat rod. And now that they are so rare, I grin whenever I see one.

There was a "Pacer - X" sitting on a Mom-n-Pop jeep sales lot in my town, but it disappeared a while back. Must've had a Rally tuned suspension huh?

Nice pic Troy. I can picture those two cars on the road and the one in behind coming round to pass the Pacer. The driver probably laughing at the Pacer as he goes by.

    Here's another one.

I really am more of a Matador fan though. Unintentionally the goofiest car to ever be used in a James Bond chase.
