I use an 8 gig 3rd gen nano with Shure SE420's for on the go. Such big sound from such a little system. I have Grado 225's for home headphones. I am a headphone geek. Plan to get a micro headphone amp from Headroom soon. Highly recommend either of these phones. A little discomfort with both pair during long listens ( 2 hrs or more). Just have to overlook it because the sound is so utterly incredible.

Most used is a 30 GB Zune with Precision Laboratories Challenger C custom made ear buds plugged into a headroom total airhead amp. Let me say the amp made the ear buds come ALIVE!

I'm curious Jimmy B. What is the ohms rating of your buds. I've wanted a headphone amp for quite a while. My Sure SE420's drive pretty easy @ 16 ohm.

I believe they are rated at 50 ohms, their site doesn't want to open right now?

OK, If they are rated at 50 ohms that would explain the amp making them come alive. I'm not sure I would get the same magnitude of results but I am going to get the amp soon because I have a pair of Grado 225's that I know will light up better with an amp.

I second the Sanza Clip as I have the 8 gig version with an additional 16 gig micro card in it running all flac files and this thing sounds awesome for a tiny little player that I got for around $60 through Amazon. Did not know how I would like it at first but I did my research and found out that most people that have one really talk about the good sound quality for the price which the sound quality is the top thing for me other than portability. I have compared it to many of my friends I pods and will say in my opinion the Sanza kills the I pods in sound quality and it does not matter which I pod you pick to put it against. I am using some midrange priced Sony earbuds that sound better than I thought they would when I bought them but I do plan on upgrading to either some over ear phones or a better set of buds. But I do like the openness that over the ear phones give you(a more sense of air and actual soundstage that earbuds so far have not given me. But the earbuds are portable and fit in my pocket better.

I will add though I wish the Sanza had replaceable batteries because I would buy more batteries and take them with me so if my batteries go dead I can just change them and keep on listening but its not like that. maybe the next version will have replaceables.

Well I got the Grado's and the Fiio E5 and with the sansa set at flat and the bass boost of the E5 the balance is perfect and they are breaking in great. At first they were a little bright but now they are very smooth and much more than I thought I would get for 100 bones. The E5 lets me lower the volume on my ssnsa and the sansa does not have an headphone load on it now so the batteries seem to last a heck of a lot longer. So far very happy for a portable system for under $200 and I have let my friends at the University hear this setup and they are rethinking their ipods with beats audio headphone setups they are using.

Hei kaikki ollakseni rehellinen, en ole koskaan nähnyt ongelmia juominen hieman alkoholia. Viime aikoina näin kuitenkin ihmisten kärsivän alkoholismista ja he muuttivat aikaani. Tilasin heille jopa lääkkeitä verkkoapteekista.
