I've had the older E2c but did the upgrade to the E5c two way. AFTER I bought those and sold the E2c I found the triple flange from Shure made the bass clearer and stronger on the E5c. Of course then I wondered if the E2c would have been good enough with the triple flange but did not have them to try. The E5c is extended on both ends compared to the E2c so I'm glad I got them. One thing I noticed when I first used the triple flange was that the treble was muted. I actually cut the front flange off to bring the earphone closer to my eardrum and it came back without ruining the bass. They also don't stick way out of your ear either.
Search "shure triple flange" in E-bay and you'll see the flanges.

I doubt the E2 will sound like your senn600 but they are pretty close to my senn 280pro.
