    QUAD owner and hi-fi expert Ken Kessler wrote a piece for Britain's HIFI News magazine a few years ago asserting that the QUAD ESL-57ís were the greatest hi-fi component ever made. That caught people's attention and prices soared on online auction sites.

    altough this guys clearly lacks knowledge and the article is less then stellar i have to agree on the old vs. new stuff. Just a correction for the above, Kenn Kessler has Apogee Scintillas in his primary listening room. A ribbon maker and friend from Australia has visited him twice in his music room. Supposely a very nice guy :-)
