Agreed. I vividly remember getting my first pair of Xs back in '77. Never owned the Spectras, but had a (modified) pair of 2+2s for over twenty years.

See my equipment list! I'm currently looking for a pair of Model 6's or Spectra 66/6600. I have owned nothing but Acoustats since 1983. I want the larger ones so I can do away with the subwoofers.
