    SLS Consumer level speakers?

    First post, be kind.

I was in a local Walmart the other day and noticed that SLS is selling a HTIB! It was about $500 - here's the link on Walmart's site: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=4183349

And on the SLS site - http://www.slsloudspeakers.com/homeaudio/qline.html

Anyone know anything about these? My AR's are getting a little bit up there, and I'd love to bring in some planar boxes if these are decent.

    Thanks!

    Hello and welcome first!

Those are not exactly a planar speaker. You are better of saving your money and buying a HIFI planar speaker form the companys i have listed. Please take a look in the picture section (WHICH IS STILL NOT A STICKY!).

What is your budget, what electronics do you own and what type of music do you listen to? I am sure we can find something for you, but its better if you start with some good equipment.

    Cheers

Lots of music but not enough time for it all

Planar and box are not synonomous. Planar speakers have no box. All planars radiate sound from both sides. If you know what you want go to www.audiogon.com and check out some used planars. Used speakers are the best buy in audio. This site is a good place to ask questions about planars. So ask away.
