    When shipping goods under FOB shipping point, the seller is responsible for the goods until they reach the agreed-upon shipping point. Once the goods are delivered to the shipping point, the buyer becomes liable for the goods and must arrange for the transport of the goods to their ultimate destination. In this case, the buyer pays for the freight costs.
