We are stocked up with 12 kinds of dark beer and 4 kinds of lite. There are several boxes of wine downstairs. Even a few bottles. Some have corks instead of twist tops. Soda of all kinds stacked as high as you can see. Juices, milk, coffee, check, check check. Three freezers filled with ice, and the store is walking distance. Perishables are on order. The girls are warming up. I have 4 bartenders hired, but I couldn't find that guy from FA's party. He's still missing. Invitations are not ready yet but the graphics are done. The basement is all fixed up. Stereo is ready. Guitar and amp are cleaned up. Both HT systems are fired up. Karaoke is ready. The camcorder is set up so we can make DVD's of the people who try to sing, as well as the ones who fall asleep in the bath tub. The local hospital has been put on alert. I invited the local cops to the party so they won't bother us. Yogi and Booboo said they may stop by, but don't want to come indoors. I'll send a PM to P.G. when it's time.

But I think I missed a few things. What have I left out?

They're ALL dogs! Looks like I'll be spending more than just a couple of hours with Eva this time around. But dam GM, you really got things under control... again.

I sent PG a PM once but he didn't respond. Maybe it was just me though.

It's all in how you do it. When the time comes, I'll PM him and say that we need his expert advice on a thread. Then I'll paste a link to the new thread that we'll have started. Maybe we should start it in the steel cage. He never goes there. The title could be SHHHHHHHH... It's a surprize. Don't tell ...

Wait a minute! I thought you wanted to tend bar this time. Now you're pushing your responsibilities off on your wife and kids? WTF?!?!?!

Is ANYBODY working on the invitations?

Me the bartender? No no no no. Everyone would be out cold in an hour. I just do the planning and coordinating.
I'm not WORKING on the invitations, but I do have a plan.

Ya know, I'm getting really pi$$ed off with the stinkin' spam here again! I hate it when I refresh the main page and see either my own posts or posts from a worthless spammer over and over again!

I still think that you should PM Ericl to see if he'll pick you up as an additional SPAM eater. John seems very busy lately. Bet he could use a hand.

No! Not there! Get your hand off his butt!

I have eaten so much spam that I had an abnormal EKG. Rich just use the triangle shaped icon to report a bad post. It will be sent to all the mods so whomever receives it first will delete.

Mike, I absolutely LOVE the way your wife (I'm guessing it wasn't your idea) has tied that curtain. It's very eastern and very classy. I'll have to remember that for my own decorating endeavors.

My diet is pretty good just too many calories. What I need most is to exercise. I need to schedule my stress test.

Cool, I'll let her know. But that's not how they are anymore. Guess she got tired of me untying them every time I wanted to use the projector. She got those little hook thingies on each side now.

I am on a rather strict diet now. But still need to start exercising also.

Stress? What stress? I see no stress here.

I understand that JM, but to me, the damage is already done when these posts show up. What you describe is a reactionary measure instead of a pro-active measure. My interpretation of the "submit bad post" icon is that it's there for a person who feels that when he's been personally attacked, he has an avenue to vent his frustration, and more importantly a way to alert the mods that a member is violating the forum rules. To reiterate, sites that I've been a member of in the past didn't see any where near the amount of spam crap that this site sees, and I'm sure it's contributing to this site's dwindling traffic from some really interesting people.

Nevertheless John, I do appreciate your's and E-stat's position, and I realize you're doing the best you can with the resources provided to you. to you.

Imagine if we had a spam filter. I wonder how many threads might not appear because the filter mistook something for spam. I can show you a few threads by long term members that by the title looked like spam. We have a filter for objectionable words but we can find ways around it. Of course if you want to talk about Donald ***en you have to type his last name F@gen so others will know who you meant. This is a free site with free registration and that will always open us up to spammers. Some sites with a smaller membership and narrower interest are not as plagued by spam. A watch site I visit is not of enough interest to the general public that spammers bother with it. They want to go where their threads might be seen by the most. We do ban routine spammers and porn spammers. Also members that continually harass others. When something is free to all there are usually tradeoffs.

    Back to the party preparations.

    Well the band is set...
    I'm on Bass.

C.J. Chenier (who did accordion on a tune of our upcoming album) is on the squeeze box.

Levon Helm who I met last week touring with his "Midnight Ramble" has agreed to play drums.

I'm working on others and a cask of Romulan Ale as well.

I forsee a great party. Thanks for joining in Worf. The stage is all see up. Are you bringing your own amps? I have a Fender Twin Reverb if you come up short.

Tex, He'll be good to go. He's not a moody type.
