    Shameless promo...

of my son's band. We got a half-way decent recording of my son's band Friday night while they performed for friends and family. Instruments and vocals were mic'd and ran from the "tape out" of a powered mixer to an iMac notebook.

These kids are into something called "screamo." I have to kinda overlook the screamin' vocals. Anyhow, here's their myspace page with one of their songs ready to be played.

P.S. You might want to keep your hand on the volume control.

LOL, spoken like a true Dad!

Sorry Deano but I could only get halfway through it. That screaming stuff is like fingernails on a chalkboard to these old ears. Good luck to your son though. I hope his band is successful and that he has a hell of a good time.

Full marks for supporting your kids band. I also know now what screamo is and sadly it's not for me. But good luck to them and this is the time in their lifes to do it.
    Well done Deano!

    Peace
