PS3 Discussion Thread

I'm not so big into FPS either - but I really enjoyed Halo, more for the story, sound and visuals, and I like the Call of Duty games. My favs on the original Xbox were the Knights of the Old Republic games though which are more RPG/FPS combos.

I have Halo II for PC installed. I like the visuals as well, especially during the hot summer months down here. (Lottsa snowfall scenes)

Mass Effect for the 360 was absolutely phenomenal too - not a pure FPS or RPG, but elements of both.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R and Crysis for PC are also similar styles.

I play more goofy games like Guitar Hero and Star Wars lego than anything but I like burning through a good title now and then.

Lately I've been addicted to Bioshock, which is an FPS but with an incredibly weird, 1960's utopia-gone-wrong setting with genetic-manipulating zombies and little kids you eat, and an incredibly cool story to boot. I believe a movie is already in production? Not sure if this one is exclusive to the 360 but it's a lot of fun...

I almost bought Bioshock. I was able to get a pretty good picture on my HDTV the other day while playing Doom3 & Half-Life II, so it's time to start blowing up monsters again.
