    Only for Mature Audiences

The U.S. Boating Club bulletin board rules clearly show why boating, rather than Audio, is for grown-ups.

The U.S. Boating Club bulletin board rules:

Although our forums are "open" forums where all sorts of topics may be discussed, there are a few general rules that we must follow to make The U.S. Boating Club experience a positive one for all of our Members and Guests.
The Founders of The U.S. Boating Club believe in respecting your First Amendment Right to free speech. As such, The U.S. Boating Club has a strict policy against censorship of any kind. We count on you, the Member, to follow the Forum Guidelines. As always, if you find a particular subject or posting to be offensive, it is your responsibility to censor yourself by closing the window. Additionally, if you find material on this site or the internet in general which you deem to be offensive or inappropriate for your children to view, it is your responsibility as a parent to teach your children about inappropriate material on the internet and how to close the window when they encounter inappropriate material.

    1. No spam of any kind will be tolerated. We define spam as a posting or multiple postings across several forums advertising a product or service. If you wish to advertise a product or service, The U.S. Boating Club has a program for vendors of products and services to advertise your products and services on our website. If you elect to violate this guideline, it is likely that your spam will not be deleted, but rather, your product or service will be given a great deal of negative publicity on our site.

    2. Please keep your postings 'on topic' for the forum you are posting to.

    3. Posting of pictures involving nudity is discouraged.

    4. All Members are asked to fill out their entire profile immediately after registering.

    5. To the extent possible, kindly keep your postings civilized. You are much more likely to get your point across by using clear, concise language instead of by 'flaming' another Member. If you elect to 'flame' another Member, be prepared for return fire. If the conversation gets out of hand, the Administrator and Forum Moderators reserve the right to close the topic in lieu of deleting postings.

    6. Keep in mind that while high-speed internet access is commonly available in most areas, not everyone has access to high-speed internet at this time. When attaching pictures to your posts, please resize your pictures to a maximum size of 640 X 480 pixels.

    7. The U.S. Boating Club encourages its Members to organize informal 'get-togethers' with other Members. Please note that unless specifically stated, The U.S. Boating Club is not a sponsor of these ad hoc gatherings and as such, all participants agree to hold harmless The U.S. Boating Club, it's Principals, Employees, Members and Volunteers, for any damages, either personal, property or otherwise that may arise from said non-sanctioned events. Further, all postings to all forums are the property of the Member who posted the item. All Members and Guests agree to hold harmless The U.S. Boating Club for any damages, either personal or property, which results from following any information or guidance contained in a given posting.

    8. Vendors, manufacturer representatives, boat dealers, marine mechanics and the like are encouraged to participate in all of our forums. If you are representing a manufacturer, boat dealer, or other marine related service, you are encouraged to disclose this information in your Member Profile and your Signature. Please keep in mind, our forums are largely for informational purposes. You are encouraged to support your products but are also encouraged to refrain from posting obvious sales pitches.

Since my main audio system is good enough to fool my dogs & cats, I can devote more time to a "Mature" interest, such as replacing my big-block Baja with a Velocity………
