Large Hadron Collider (LHC) finally working

    http://uk.news.yahoo.com/5/20100330/...h-3fd0ae9.html

Coincidentally, my house is 'inside' the actual ring which is a couple miles or so in diameter. There was a thread about this back in late 2008, if someone wants to find it. I'll try looking later.

Ut oh! You're going to be subjected to hadron flux. You'd better watch out for the Higgs boson.

If you position your speakers so the voice coils are at a 90 degree angle to the axis of the ring you will greatly improve your soundstage depth and imaging.

There seems to be a lot of US universities contributing to this project as well.

Snicker, snicker.......No kex, you have to put a sonic cloud eraser on top of the speaker at each corner, and then position your speakers as you state. Not only will soundstage depth and imaging improve, but clarity will improve as well.

Well, it seems to me that a certain poster does not think the mouse is all that evil after all. Still watching programming from a company that is evil, racist, and was Nazi sympathizers. I guess dinner tonight at his house will be spicy hypocrite soup, with crow and veggies.

Well I didn't pay a dime for it, so at least I'm not contributing to your extravagant lifestyle.

I suppose next you're going to tell me that just watching it is hypocritical, too. Give it a rest, already.

How exactly do you know what my lifestyle is? More ass-umptions? Free or not, when you berate a company as you did, it seems that you would back up the charges you made with some action. You may have not paid anything for it, but you are a viewer, which allows us to attract more advertisers which do pay for ads. Thanks!

I suppose next you're going to tell me that just watching it is hypocritical, too. Give it a rest, already.
Well, it was you that called Disney evil, racist, and Nazi supporters right? Well if you are going to take that stand, then why watch the programming? Or are you the complaining but take no stand type, you know the type that says one thing and does another - a more mouth than action type.

Now you have proven by your actions that your rants were completely disingenuous. Can you see why I don't take you seriously, and completely dismiss anything you have to say? Where I come from, you are known as a fake, or an air sandwich.

Because of all your boasting about your dozen viewing rooms, your gazillion dollar recording studio, when you say that audio gear prices mean so little to you, or all the Hollywood mucky-mucks you claim rub elbows with. Yeah, I'd say you've told us plenty about your extravagant lifestyle. The rest of us live in the real world, lil't.

Wrong again, no commercials, either. And if it did have any, I'd FF through them. Now don't get all huffy, that's still allowed, I believe. I know you'd like nothing more than to stick to the average consumer one way or another....

First of all, I had no idea your company was responsible for it. If I had known, I probably would have skipped it out of principle (and because I wouldn't want to support a hypocrite like you in any way). But now that I've seen it, I can hardly undo that, now can I?

Anyhow, if I didn't see Disney-produced stuff, you'd probably criticize me for not having anything to say about it. Anyhow, my criteria isn't as much to not see it as it is not to fund it, and that's what I've done here.

Well the way you got into it with me with these posts, it doesn't look much like you don't "take me seriously", or "dismiss everything I say," now does it?

Go ahead, have the last word, we all know you want to. And then we'll see again how much you "dismiss" everything I say.

Just give it a rest already, you lost this debate the minute you attacked me. As I said: hilarious!

Just pointing out the hypocrite you are. You go on a 1 page rant about how evil Disney is, and they you lap up Disney programming. No principles, big mouth, paranoid rants=fool. Now the just can't help myself argument. Next time you go on one of those idiotic rants, I'll remind you again what a hypocrite you are.

You made my point for me hypocrite. You ranted and railed, and then you turn on the television and Hoover up the programming. You are spineless, talk a big game, but are unprincipled and weak. I thought this about you before, and you hit it home right here.

If you think Disney is so evil, don't watch the programming. If you watch Disney programming, STFU, end of story.
