    Cool Worlds largest HDTV?

Probably not, but surely close, at 120 ft wide by 70 tall(what aspect is that?)
Seems the Cowboys are building a new stadium (1.2 billion plus) and a huge HDTV
will be hanging from the ceilling, has to be put together in 70 sections.
Interesting tho is the reason behind this (with huge matching view screens ouitside)
Seems that they took a survey and the number one reason fans picked not to go
out to the game was the fact that they could sit at home and watch it on a 50" HDTV.
So they put one in the stadium.
HDTV, in other words. is having an impact.

Will they still show commercials on the TV at the stadium? I bet they will.

Did they also said that at home, you could smoke or drink whatever you want in your comfortable chair. And best of all avoid the crowd, noise and traffic

The real advantage to going to the game is the energy and atmosphere...not what you can see on the field or the screen. I sometimes go to the Texas-Oklahoma football game, which is held annually in the Cotton Bowl, a run-down stadium without current facilities or amenities. It's a pretty amazing event and no one cares that the video screen is tiny. Now the undersized toilet rooms might be an issue, but not the video screen.

    YEP.
I beleive that the phrase was "if I can sit in my comfortable chair, do what I WANT,
and watch the game on a 50" screen, then why go"?
Pundits have always talked about man as a social animal, thats why they went to games they could watch on TV.
Might have been that NTSC TV simply didnt have a decent enough picture.
Seen sports on an HDTV? Scary good, even if you're not a sports fan.
I know we mostly talk about movies on this site, but sports, concerts, games, all look better with a dash of HD.
