Playstation 3 Enters Production ...

Several sites are now reporting that the Playstation 3 has gone into production with Sony due to receive the first 200,000 units from Asustek by the end of this month, and Asustek due to deliver 4 million units before the product launch with another subcontractor starting up production in August. This gives Sony almost four months of production lead time before the November launch, compared to the Xbox 360 reportedly having 69 days of production time before its launch date.
