Speakers for a new System!

Hello
OK now for the Business End of this System!
I have heard Klipsch Referance Speakers and I like them! But I heard them with a Reciever that I don't really want. They sounded better to me than the Infinity and the guy had a different Sub I forget what it was. Is there other good speakers in this price range I should check out?
What do you guys know about Aprion Systems?
a 7.1 System from them with the Onkyo 801 Reciever is $2659.00 This is at the top of my range but is doable. Can i do Better??

If you have spent enough time listening to the Klipsch and like their distinctive sound you should be good to go. If you just gave them a quick listen do spend some time with them. Some people can't enough of them and some people find them fatiguing. If Klipsch is for you, not many other speakers will be.
