Mostly its because these cheap players use computer drives.
Drives that became obsolete when everybody wanted a burner on their computer.
So the play only drives were recycled into cheap DVD players, and computer drives have always played all formats better than dedicated standalone drives.
Ya...so Pix are you basically saying that sticking with my current set up is not a bad option? I like stanly's advice but don't really have the energy to check every unit under the sun at amazon...
