    I apparently neglected...

    ...to include "cheap" along with "lazy summnab!tch"...my teevee is working well otherwise, I see no real reason to replace it at this time. Either of the two devices mentioned may prove useful in the future, so that expenditure can be considered justified.

    jimHJJ(...as stated, and while it certainly falls into line in the "cheapness" dept., the RF deal is not a biggie on my list of options...)

    It is a 4-way audio/video selector switch from Radio Shack. Granted, you have to get up out of your cozy chair and push a button but that will be it. You have to get up anyways to put in the DVD so it isn't exactly an extra 15 foot round trip. However, what more do you expect for $20?
