If your set is 1080p this is why it looks better, especially if it had 24p (pixel for pixel)
Basically thats 72fps, or three times the 24fps of a movie, each frame is shown 3 times, no 3:2 pulldown crap, so fewer artifacts.
Anyway, congrats.

Yeah my TV is only 1080i when I try the 1080p setting on the player TV goes black.
But so far so good although the Dolby True HD still needs a patch for the analog outs it only goes through the stereo speakers.
All the other audio formats work though through the analog outs like DTS master.
It has been like Christmas weekend for me.
this is a very nice unit and what it can do for SD DVD still amazes me.

These players are native 1080p and its there when you need it tho.
