Need opinions on: Onkyo TX-SR502 receiver, JBL SCS160SI speakers, Sony DVP-NC675P....

Anyone out there own the Onkyo TX-SR502 receiver, JBL SCS160SI speaker package and/or Sony DVP-NC675P DVD/CD player? I am considering these three items and would love to hear the pros and cons about them.

Also, for anyone who owns the Sony DVP-NC675P DVD/CD player, I have another question. When playing multiple music CD's, is there a function that will allow the player to randomly shuffle between songs on ALL the discs that are in the machine? I'm getting conflicting information from Sony. Some people have told me you can do this, while others have told me you can only shuffle the songs on ONE cd.

    Thanks.

    The Onkly 502

Easy to set up, cheap, lightly powered. An entry level receiver of the lowest order. Only to be used in the smallest rooms and most basic of set ups. It'll get the job done but if you want more for your money, buy a used Onkyo 797. You'll get more features, more power and more bang for you buck. I know because I've owned the 501, 602, 787, 797, 898.

You can do much better than the Sony DVD player also. I hated that thing.
