You know I did the calculation with screen size vs the 32 and the 30" sets both when i bought the sanyo and the sony. I went with the Sanyo at first for that same reason. 4:3 content is much smaller on the Sony, but Widescreen content (which is what I wanted to emphasize) feels MUCH larger than .6" on the Sony. Maybe because it is full screen, but there is something really nice about it.
