    Multi-channel problems

    Hello All,
    New AV guy here. I have a question regarding multi-channel components. I own a Sony SCD222es SACD player which has a 5.1 SACD output. For some reason I am getting no signal from the Sub output. I hooked it up on my neighbor's setup and it worked fine. He was using a crossover of 80Hz while I use a 40Hz crossover freq. Should I try adjusting the crossover until I hear a sub tone? Or might this be a problem with my receiver's multi channel input?

    could be anything honestly, start with the crossover, then the cable, then look at the input.
