    Infared pickup for HT system

I am looking for a infared pickup for my neighbors HT system. He needs something that picks up the infared remote signal and can pipe it down to the receiver(Denon 3803). The way the living room is laid out. The fact the wifey likes the HT cabinet door closed is the reason for this. He is looking for something small that he could drill a hole for and slip it through and then mount the other end of the pickup onto the receiver's IR sensor.

    Thanks

There are a number of such systems. Zantec is one. Do an internet search, or maybe even Radio Shack has them too.
