    Digital Cable, S-Video, Fiber...

    It seems these are the choices one can use for video input now-a-days. Is it safe to assume that fiber is the higher end of all the video?

    Fiber cable in consumer audio is only for digital audio use.

    Certainly you'd want to use at least S-Video signal for video.
