    Disabling Sony Wega Auto Contrast?

I have a sony wega kv-36fs16 and it seems to have some "feature" that auto adjusts the contrast or brightness for me while im watching a film, especially if im going frame by frame through a sequence, and i'd like to disable that. I looked into the service menu, and i found there's 2 settings "DPIX" and "Y-DC" that look like they deal with black level adjustments, however my specific model of this tv doesnt have those commands for me to change. Does anyone know how to disable this auto contrast adjustment that its doing?

    thanks

On my old Trinitron set, this feature was found in the regular video/picture menu. It was called "lumisponder" and it could simply be toggled on or off. Hopefully Sony hasn't made it strictly a service menu item; that would be a bad idea. I know I found it a terrible distraction and always had it turned off on my set. Hope this helps, best of luck.
