Celestion 5 mkii

I’m trying to budget build a theatre surround system that I can still crank to play tunes on.

I can get 4 mkii speakers for 150.00 and the reviews I have read all say they are highly sought after. But now I have found that these speakers are old as dirt and maybe the reviews are just as outdated. My question is

Are these still considered a high end compared to what’s on the market today? Would you rather the klipsch rsx 5 if the prices were the same?

Powering with a nad t773, nuance powered fronts and a very big nuance sub. I do plan to upgrade the fronts to something cleaner in the future as well
