any experience with extech SPL meter?

I see alot of people using the RS SPL Meter but in my area it's impossible to find.

I didn't want to buy from ebay because patience isn't my strongest point when it comes to buy things.. I got screwed anyway because the extech I've ordered it back order

Does anyone have one or tried one??? any gaps in the readings like the RS models?

    Thanks,

    Alex

Like the RS meter, it's a wee bit off the lower you go (especially below 50 Hz), but I compare it with my RS meter and my Galaxy audio meter, and it never wavers by more than 1.5 dB from the supposedly correct values...the biggest spread in my room anyway is a 1.5 under-reading at 32 Hz.

Personally I feel it's a higher quality SPL meter than the RS. Just not as popular.
