Blue Meanie is right, this combo won't work at all. If you want loud, that depends more on the speakers than it does the amp. What speakers are you using?

But I don't know if it has a detrimental effect on sound quality or not. Although in this case, that might not be a concern.

They are used in car audio all the time.

Yeah, more efficient speakers (like Cerwin-Vegas, for example) would probably be the easiest way to get LOUD.
