    On Screen Display...

    I thought that the Sony STR-DA1000ES was suppose to have an on screen display...because i can hit the button on the remote and nothing happens...

    Not familiar with your model but some out there you can only get OSD with s-video. If that is the case you can make your adjustments that way and when you are done switch over to component, if you have it, to watch dvd's.
