Hi everyone,

I like to collect vintage audio equipment. A few years ago I bought a pair of used Proac Super Tablete speakers which sounded fine when I tested them but after a period of being stored away, when I hooked them up again they sounded awful, almost the same sound when the output of your amp is partially blown. The same happened with a Quad 44 preamp I have. Do you think this could be a problem with the capacitors? I was thinking in replacing the capacitors in the speakers' crossovers. I always heard of recapping in power amps but bot quite often with speakers. I appreciate any advice you might have.
