    Rear channel noise (hiss)

Hi all! Been some time since I have posted here at AR. Hope all is well with no trolls.

    My question is this,
My NAD T753 has a problem with rear channel hiss. Can I connect a two channel amp to the rear channel pre-outs to get rid of this hiss noise?

Where is the hiss coming from in my rear speakers?

    Thanks all!

That would depend if the noise originates from the pre-amp or is in the internal rear amps. If the noise originates in the pre-amp connectng an external amp won't help. If the pre-amp is clean an external amp should work. If you're hearing the hiss in both channels my guess is both amps didn't go bad at the same time.
