    Talking power conversion

    dfaf

Hi.. I have just purchased a Technics SU-V707 ( about 23yrs old) integrated amp from a guy in Canada. I live in Ireland where the voltage is 240v. This may be a silly question but do I need a step down transformer to get down to 110v and if anyone knows what wattage of step down would i need. An online electronics store reckons that hifi equipment is rated around 150 Va to 300 Va. the output power per channel on this amp is 90 Va..

Thanks in advance of any help!!

General rule of thumb for power conversion is to get a converters that have higher rating than what is needed. So if you get any converted that is rated over 300 watts, then you should be alright
