    Question Noob Question/how to/dyi

I have a Mcs90 boston acoustics powered sub(wired) that I recieved for free mind you first of all. It was given to me in not working order or so he said.(reason it was free) Long story short, I plugged it into my pc at home, powered it up, and to my surprise it worked! I delightfully used it for about 2months, then all of a sudden it one day just stopped working.... I'm a DYI kinda guy, I bypassed board and when str8 from sub to another controller(board) I knew worked and it works fine. Problem is it not my way of running things. Jerry rigged won't work for me. Don't wanna ruin anything. So my question is this, How do I diagnose what is bad on the board? or Do I trash the entire thing keep the speaker itself for something else? I'd appreciate the help.

If the power board is bad, you can go to parts Express and order another power board.
