I humbly submit Kenny G. for your consideration. His tone sounds to me like he's constipated. Add the worst taste in music I've ever heard and you have a worthy contestant.
The Jonas Brothers are playing on SNL as I'm writing this. Am I missing something? I don't get it/them. Put them down as contenders.

    Why is that?

Because he's classical? Or because he's a composer (which you might or might not consider a "musician")? Or because he's Tchaikovsky?

Speaking of overrated classical composers, my vote goes to Anton Bruckner.

In my humble opinion Tchaikovsky was brilliant. He is one of my favorite composers. Of course I am drawn to tortured souls and the music they create.

Totally Agree JM. Tchaikovsky is one of my favorites. His 4th Sym on DVD is something I can watch over and over again.
