I hope no one else bought that Alantic rack that holds 504 DVD's it's a piece of crap. I knew the design was flawed when I saw the only thing holding the top and bottom tier was those fit & turn things. I followed the instructions to the word, something told me to glue but I was afraid of maybe getting a wrong piece in the wrong spot, I got this thing all together, lifted it to stand and it breaks right in the middle. Those twist & turn things snapped and the pegs wasn't going to hold anything. Now I am out the time and effort putting it together and $140.00, so my only hope is Racks & Stands might be able to do something for me. I don't want the same rack. If they were going to make the ting that tall at least the ouside pieces should have been one solid piece. I'm crushed.

Sorry to hear about the rack, Mr. Peabody. The Atlantic unit seems like a perfect one for me except for the size of the space in the basement. I eventually settle on a smaller unit from a local cabinet store - it holds about 265 DVDs. It comes unfinished so I put two coats of Minwax Polyshade Classical Oak. This solve my problem. I hope you can get an exchange from Racks and Stands. They have some very nice products.

I'd like a nice large rack also. Anymore pics available?
