    Saying hello

Hi all. I'm new here and just saying hello!

Just so you know where I'm up to hi-fi wise, my current system is:

    Thorens TD150MkIIAB
    Technics ST-GT550 RDS Tuner
    Technics RS-BX501 Cassette Deck
    Technics SL-PS670A CD Player
    Rotel RA-01 Integrated Amplifier
    Quad 11L Speakers

My next upgrade (following purchase of the Rotel amp today) will be the CD player - to a Rotel RCD-02 or its replacement, hopefully in the next couple of weeks. I am also considering one of the Sony SACD players, but will need to hear how it compares to the Rotel first.

I am a musician first, and hi-fi buff second - the latter serves the former! I have very eclectic musical tastes - classical, jazz, opera, rock/pop, folk, country, theatre. If its good then I like it!

    Cheers for now!
    Matt

I said : "That's nothing - you should hear me play piano"
