    Center channel stand

I have a Cerwin Vega E76c, which is two 6 1/2'' drivers and a 1'' dome tweeter, this unit weighs approximatly 16LBS and my A/V,TV stand will not hold it. My question is does anyone know where i should start looking for one?

What are the deminsions of the center speaker?

I had a similar problem with my M&K center speaker, which was about 12" tall and eventually bought a Salamander cabinet. Center channel in the mid compartment, gear on the left and right compartment. You can find all sorts of stands by googing or for the most major brands and deals go to

    audio-video-furniture.com

    or

    rackandstands.com

Noel will build you whatever you want. Here is mine under my Paradigm Studio CC which is a little bigger and heavier than your CV so it will hold it with no problem. These stands are like concrete blocks! Very solid.

    Good choice.

I had considered the same thing when I started looking to replace my CRT with a rear projection set. The rear projection sets did not have the top space depth to support my speaker and the one you choose would have solved the problem. Then I shifted to plasma and had to find a cabinet to house the very tall center speaker.

    Happy New Year Bro.....
